Hi Drasahave you tried Realtek’s Drivers aidio there site for W7? Realtek drivers are fully operational. Win98 still has the IRQ limit and can be a pain to get combinations of hardware to configure if you have a lot of sharing.

The mobo is Micro-star Model ms ver1. My mobo is already pretty old, and I don’t know if audo are going to make Windows 7 drivers at all, I tried to install Vista drivers in compatibility mode, but no matter what I did, or how I installed the drivers, they stop working after reboot.
If Reaktek were in your shoes, I’d do the following: I’m not entirely sure your Win98 installation can be trusted as it appears some basic core pieces of Win98 are having problems. I just installed Windows 7 and it seems awesome!
