Tempting Danger is a somewhat formulaic tale in the hands of a gifted writer and, even though you may have been down this road a time or two before, the book is a solid read and more than a safe bet for those who enjoy paranormals. It will be interesting to see where the relationship between Rule and Lily goes, as they definitely seem to clash.
Not to mention some uncommon te For me, it is uncommon to love an urban series from the very beginning. Cullen plays a much larger role, and I hope Wilks continues to show us more of his character.

Which makes it sound as if I didn't like it. The first half and the second half feel almost like two separate stories. And the dangsr Lily ended up after what happens in hell… just did nothing for me. Lots of familiar elements and nothing particularly original but well executed and engaging. Ensued a thrilling fight scene with Benedict, a whole pack of wolves, gang members and a mad Harlowe casting magic with the staff. Not everyone is happy.
Also sometimes Were's would be referred to as Wolves, other times as 'with the blood' and other times as Lupi or the plural of Lupi.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. I guess there are a lot of those these days. Eileen Wilks begins a promising new paranormal series in this solidly written, if not especially original release. World of the Lupi? Thanks to my Buddy Reader, edgy, who got me to read this book with her.
A strange and worrisome mate bond. The investigations and the interesting facts about eileeen cops and, especially, the details about the world now that supernaturals are legal.
Also, fuck, I really wish Rule was more alpha male, that he was more dominant and strong. I was a little annoyed with her in eipeen first book because she takes 'willfully blind' to whole new levels, but here the exponent grew even higher. There was no growly "mine" which makes me sad.
He barely missed your eye. I will continue the series, but it will be on the backburner of things to read. These definitely segue into the next story after it so definitely read them in order.
